John Van Wagner, born in the Hudson Valley of New York to chicken-farming Quakers, is a written-object fabricator in Santa Fe. Occasionally he makes little movies.
He studied film theory and production at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, studies words and their potential architectures always and everywhere, and is a former cabinetmaker.
He ‘has’ a partner to whom he is mortally indebted, a supremely-talented stepdaughter, a house, a dog, and a dilapidated minivan.
